Full Arch Dental Implants Options
Single Dental Implant
Missing a single tooth can cause a cascade of adverse effects to your oral health and the appearance of your smile. With a permanent dental implant, your dentist won’t need to grind or alter your adjacent teeth the way they’d have to for a dental bridge.
A secure dental implant will stay in place, so you’ll never have to worry about your replacement tooth falling out or having to adjust the types of food you eat.
Partial Dental Implants
Missing multiple teeth can put you at an increased risk for bone loss and keep you from being able to eat your favorite foods, speak clearly, or smile naturally with confidence.
One-day dental implants for multiple teeth are as simple to place as a single implant. With your missing teeth permanently replaced, you can start to enjoy life again with your new permanent dental implants!
Full Set of Dental Implants
If you’re missing all of your teeth, you’re likely also missing the foods you used to love, and are having trouble speaking clearly or smiling with confidence. Whole mouth dental implants are the perfect solution for those who have suffered from the loss of all of their teeth.
Your new denture will be permanently attached using top dental implant posts — the strong, durable fit ensures you can feel confident in your new smile without worry about your new teeth slipping or falling out!

Meet The Doctor
Dr. James A. Gainer is a general dentist with years of training and experience in a vast array of dental procedures. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, one of the best schools in the country. Since graduating with his DDS degree in 1984, he has performed general dentistry while continuing his education with several postgraduate courses in different fields of dentistry. Dr. Gainer provided caring and precise dental care at his former practice in Lexington Park, Maryland, from 1992 until selling his practice to relocate to North Carolina in 2011. Since February 14, 2011, Dr. Gainer has been providing the residents of Wilmington, North Carolina, with the same great dental care.
Dr. Gainer is married to Lisa Gainer, and they have two children, Clark and Madi.
Dr. Adrian LePendu entered the dental field at the age of 17 as a dental assistant in the Army Reserve. This commenced his love of dentistry, and he continued to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry on a Navy scholarship program. Upon graduation in 2004, he was elected to the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society and then served in the Navy for three years. During his Naval career, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and became the solo dentist on the forward-deployed USS Harpers Ferry out of Sasebo, Japan. His favorite part of the Navy was providing the troops with the care they deserved and the opportunity to provide dental care to impoverished areas of the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.
Dr. William Watt was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he spent most of his time with his two siblings on the soccer field and playing in the woods. After high school, he attended the University of Evansville in Southern Indiana, where he studied graphic design. During this time, he became aware of the world of dentistry and was intrigued by the “little art projects in peoples mouths”. Realizing that dentistry was a combination of science, biology, art and personal interactions, he launched himself at the opportunity to study a profession that combined so many of his interests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most of the time, the answer is YES! Most of our patients are excellent candidates for “teeth in a day” dental implants. While implant installation and temporary dental crowns can be placed in one day, most patients need approximately 6 months to completely heal prior to the final permanent prosthesis placement.
Gums do need to be healthy to support dental implants but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this permanent solution to tooth loss!
Our dentists will work with you to treat your gum disease and get your gums healthy again. Once your gums and bone area are healthy, we can move forward to placing your dental implants.
Definitely not! Dental implants are just like your real teeth. Eat crunchy, chewy food and enjoy it just as much as you did with your natural teeth!
Some dental offices need to do that, but we don’t! We are fully trained to complete your dental implant surgery from start to finish.
Age is generally not a factor, as long as you are older than 18. As long as you’re healthy enough to come to our dental office, you’re likely healthy enough to have dental implants as the permanent solution to your tooth loss
Lots of patients worry about dental pain, so let us put your mind at ease. For the dental implant surgery you’ll be numb and won’t feel a thing. It’s like taking a short nap and waking up with a new smile!
About 90% of our patients come in the next day for a follow-up with no bruising, swelling or pain. Patients generally report tolerable soreness as they heal. Occasionally a patient will have some pain, but it is uncommon and usually avoidable if you closely follow post-op instructions.
